Rattlesnake hole gets it name from its actions. It's very fast, not very friendly and will hit you when you least expect it. Rattlesnake comes in when the White Salmon is at 3.5 feet or higher at the Husum guage. This may not be the ultimate spot for beginners, but for advanced playboaters it's the closest and best park and play this area has to offer. It's a great spot to practice back stabs, blunts, spins, cartwhels, and loops (although not very easy).

Although this is a great playspot the eddy service sucks, and the only way to get back into the eddy is with a rope. It looks easy but the water and air temp are so cold it hard to hold on to.
