This is the put in rapid for the lower five miles to the North Fork Payette. It starts out
with a couple of munchy holes that most people want to avoid and ends in a huge wavetrian. About half the people I
paddle with put in, in the middle of the rapid in the eddy just below the log. It's a pretty intense put in so not
everyone wants to start out on this rapid. From their the run contains huge wavetrains and holes, (this run is much easier
when you have someone to follow that has ran it before. After about three to four miles the most intense rapid comes up,
Juicer.

Juicer contains two very large holes directly in the middle of the river. The first one you
can sneak right or left of the hole but the bottom one you want to sneak right. I saw one boater trying to punch the
bottom hole got stopped and backendered the got worked for just a little bit. From everyone I talk to they say not to
swim this river, you will come out with just cuts and bruises if you lucky. The rock is extremely jagged, it was formed
by the old road that runs by the river, guess they decided that it was easier to dump it in the river rather then
hauling it out. So be careful if you swim! This is a very fast river also, we ran the five mile section in 30-45 minutes,
its cooking!

Here are the two holes that you want to avoid on this section, the first one is the top one
and the second one is the bottom one.
