Day three and four
Rafa, Nate and myself headed to the Roadside section of the alseseca - the "classic" section.
The run was a bit low, but still very fun. I was super excited to get back on this run for redemption
through "S-turn". "S-turn" was at about the same level as when I had ran it a year ago and flipped, so
after going through my strokes in my mind, I fired it up! Every stroke was executed perfectly as I wound
my way through the narrow channel and finally landing in the pool below.
We continued downstream a little quicker than we started, as we were on a time schedule. We didn't
spend a lot of time taking photos or video, as we were planning on returning to take our time and get some
good angles the next day.
I would definately encourage anyone who is a class IV paddler to check out the roadside section of the
Alseseca. It has the most amazing waterfalls and slides, with low consequences and easy
portages, that I have ever seen. It's like a waterpark the entire way down.

Our return to the upper stretch with Taylor.

Day Five coming soon!
